Plain answers about what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we care for it.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Attesi is a retreat space rooted in nature — and we bring the same intention to how we handle your information as we do to how we care for our land and our guests. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and plan your visit, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
This website is operated by Attesi, a retreat and community space in Villa de Allende, Mexico. If you have any question about this policy or your information, the fastest way to reach us is lodge@attesi.mx.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact or booking form, we receive what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and a message about your plans, dates, or group. That's it: we don't ask for more than we need to have a real conversation with you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and whether a contact or booking form was successfully submitted. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and collect device, browser, approximate-location, and usage information. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message contents to Analytics.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and help plan your retreat, event, or stay
- To coordinate the details of a visit you've requested
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list you didn't ask to join.
Where your information lives
Running a website means working with a few trusted services, each of which handles data only on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts this website and provides cookieless site analytics.
- Google provides Google Analytics 4, which processes the usage and successful-form event data described above.
- Sanity is the content platform where our pages — and form submissions — are securely stored.
- Resend delivers your form submission to our team's inbox so we can reply.
- Elfsight / Instagram power the Instagram feed on some pages. Loading that feed connects your browser to those services, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook take you to those platforms, where their privacy policies apply.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as we're in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you return to plan a future visit. If you'd like your information removed sooner, just ask — see below.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email lodge@attesi.mx and we'll take care of it promptly. Depending on where you live, these rights may also be protected by law (including Mexico's federal data protection law and similar laws elsewhere) — but our answer is the same either way: it's your information.
Children
Our website is intended for adults planning visits and retreats. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has submitted information to us, let us know and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
