The Beginning
Two friends purchase land outside Mexico City with a simple goal: to explore permaculture and reconnect with the land.

A place where land, community, and spirit grow together.
Attesi started with a simple idea shared between two close friends: buy a piece of land outside Mexico City and learn to work it through permaculture. At first it really was just that — two people, some soil, and a lot to figure out.
But the longer they spent listening to the rhythms of the land, the more the project changed shape. Planting and tending became a kind of practice, and the land began teaching lessons of its own. What was meant to be an experiment in farming slowly became a way of living.
Word spread. Families came — drawn by the same things the founders had found: a slower pace, a connection to the earth, a sense of building something that mattered. A community began to take root.
Today, Attesi is home to more than twenty families, a retreat space that welcomes guests from around the world, and gathering places like Attesi Kitchen, our kosher restaurant, and the Attesi Market Café. It has grown in nearly every way — but the intention is exactly what it was on the first day: to cultivate a place where land, community, and spirit can grow together.

Two friends purchase land outside Mexico City with a simple goal: to explore permaculture and reconnect with the land.

What began as a hands-on learning experience working with soil and nature slowly deepened into a way of living.

The project expanded beyond the land itself, attracting people, families, and shared intention.

Attesi is now a community of over twenty families, a retreat space, and a gathering place — including Attesi Kitchen and the Attesi Market Café — still rooted in its founding values.
Six chapters in the making of Attesi — from a patch of soil to a living community.
From the very beginning, Attesi was cultivated through permaculture — working with nature rather than against it.
Drawn by a shared vision of intentional, sustainable living, the first families put down roots and a community formed.
Shabbat and the holidays became part of the natural rhythm here — tradition and land finding a home together.
Attesi Kitchen and the Market Café opened as gathering places — the farm-to-table philosophy made real, and a place for community and guests to meet.
Attesi welcomed its first guests from around the world, offering a retreat space and a different pace of life.
New families, deeper practices, the same founding vision — Attesi continues to evolve without losing its roots.
The principles that have guided Attesi from the very beginning.
Permaculture, gardens, fruit trees, herbs, and healthy soil.
Shabbat and the holidays, celebrated together.
Families building something meaningful, side by side.
Slowing down, breathing, and reconnecting.
Wellness at Attesi isn’t a program — it’s a way of life, rooted in nature, slow food, active spirituality, and community.

Movement, nourishment, rest, and physical connection to the land.

Clarity, learning, emotional intelligence, and space to reflect.

Jewish tradition, Shabbat, and the rhythms of the natural world.
Every decision at Attesi — from how we grow to how we live — is guided by a belief that we are not separate from nature, but part of it. We steward the land through regenerative agriculture and closed-loop systems, and bring clean water, education, and meaningful work to the local community.
